Now we’ll show you the complete guide on how to easily convert the eBook files, especially the iBooks you purchased from iBooks store to other common eBook formats by using Calibre.
Tips: Most of the iBooks you got from Apple iBooks store are protected by Apple’s FairPlay DRM that prevents you from directly converting the iBooks with Calibre or other tools. In this case, you have to firstly get rid of the DRM restriction from iBooks with Requiem or TunesKit iBook Copy or some other removal software.
Steps to Convert iBooks ePub to Other eBook Formats
Before get started, please make sure you’ve already downloaded and installed the proper version of Calibre on your computer.
After launching the Calibre app on your computer, you can add the iBooks ePub e-books to Calibre by clicking the “Add Books” button in Calibre.
Once the e-book files are loaded successfully in Calibre, you can select the eBooks menu list, and click “Convert Books” button. Then an e-book converting window will pop up, asking you to choose the output format for the output e-books. You can select whatever eBook format as you like.
When they are set, you can click “OK” button at the bottom of Calibre interface to let the converter begin converting the eBook files to other formats.
